Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry

We are dedicated to "approach all dental problems of children with affection and tender care as they are the most wholesome part of the human race. Being the freshest blessing from the hands of God". The Department of Paediatric Dentistry at the Triveni Institute of Dental Sciences, through its exemplary educational, research and service programmes we impart the following:

• Teacheing students and residents the skills necessary for improving and maintain the health of infants, children, adolescents and persons with special needs.


• Trains families effectively in preventive measures which ensure a lifetime of excellent oral health.


• Promotes oral health within the community and develops policies and guidelines relating to the promotion and maintenance of good oral health in habits of the children.
