Welcome to the department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. It is the branch of dentistry of teeth in the mouth. Primary goal of department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in compasses the diagnosis and …...of sequence of dental caries and includes the technique and procedure to restore the teeth to full function and appearance in an aesthetically pleasing manner with as little loss of healthy tooth structure as possible. The department includes various treatment filling, root canal treatment surgical endodontics, endodontic implants, bleading and management of tranumatized teeth.

Because dental caries and …………….. of disease are the commonest problem suffer human population in India, being endoditist and specialist in conservative Dentistry, we should be proud to alleviate these problems by necessary treatment. To provide this, one should have necessary desire and attitude. It is my pleasure and honour to mention a few words on department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.

Academics
The faculty trains the student in the subject of Conservative Dentistry and endodontics as a part of their BDS curriculum. The students are expected to capable of assessing patient’s general and oral health and of formulating a comprehensive…….plan, which might include components from other dental disciplines.

The under graduate training programme commences from 2nd BDS to Internship. 2nd BDS with Lectures and practical exercise and only the practical examination in this year.

The lecture programme and clinical posting continue in 3rd year of BDS. In final BDS students are posted in the clinics and the lecture programmes continue.

Final year will have the clinical examination. After that internship will be for 1 year during which students have to examine various kind of cases, diagnosis it and learn different kind of cases, diagnosis it and learn different kind of advance treatment procedure.

During these years students should participate in various seminars, group discussing diagnostic exercises.
